Hi, my name is Marisa and I'm the CEO and Designer for Personalized Creations By Marisa. At PCM we create unique items that celebrate an often-overlooked demographic...brown skin. I started my business due to the lack of stationery options for women of color in big box stores. I design stylish and functional products for the working woman of color that takes care of all her family's needs. My creative journey began with greeting cards, stickers, journals and planners. Now I've taken my love of designing and expanded by adding unique home decor`, drinkware and travel accessories that aren't available in big box stores. I've also self-published several Gratitude Journals that can be found on online stores such as Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Amazon, LULU.com and several others.

I'm a retired professional and self taught cake decorator! I've always cherished my most important job in life as mom to my daughter and son. They're both living life and forging their own paths. I'm truly thankful to be able to witness the fine humans they have grown up to be! I'm also blessed to be G.R. (his nickname for me) to an amazing grandson! In a few years he'll be venturing off on his own as well.
